Job Description for Lifeguard Lifeguards are required to be American Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR certified.  You must conduct yourself in a professional and friendly manner and maintain clean and professional appearance. On Stand Duties Remain alert and attentive while on the lifeguard stand. Consistently scan your pool for distressed swimmers. Enforce all club rules fairly and consistently. Not Permitted to chat with friends or co-workers, or eat while on the stand. Respond to emergencies in an appropriate manner as taught by the Lifeguard, First Aid, and CPR Training. Off Stand Duties Greet and check in members and guests in a friendly manor. Be attentive to all signals made by other guards who are on the stand. Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with members and guests. Answer all questions politely Enforce all club rules fairly and consistently. Refer all problems or complaints to manager promptly Pick up debris and trash on pool deck and grounds. Rich – Extremely please with Pool Specialists, they keep the pool and facility spotless.  The lifeguards are friendly and responsible. The water is clear and the club seems much more inviting. I could not be more pleased.  Quite a contrast from the last pool management company we had.

Whitney – You could see the difference since Pool Specialists took over the pool.  Before I would not use the bathrooms because they were so filthy.  Now even the tables and lounge chairs on the deck are clean.  The lifeguards are friendly, helpful, and conscientious.  They are well managed.
